40th Birthday of Southwest Airlines
Written by admin on June 21, 2011 – 4:52 pm -Herb Kelleher – Southwest Airlines Founder thanked to parliament Texas Tuesday while stopping to mark the 40th Legislature with the plane ‘to the birthday. Southwest Airlines when it launched in Texas in June 1971.
Kelleher called the Texas Legislature and state Supreme Court as “parent of Southwest Airlines” as an institution to grow both fledging airline found itself “in a constant battle with other airlines.”
